The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that starting on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, construction work will begin on LA 485 from ALLEN-BUELAH ROAD to LA 1. The project length is 7.120 miles.
The scope of work includes Drainage Structures, Milling Asphalt Pavement, Subgrade Layer (Treated), In-Place Cement Treated Base Course, Asphalt Concrete Overlay, and related work. This project was bid on 02/08/2017 and the contract was awarded to Madden Contracting Co., LLC of Minden, LA. The amount awarded was $3,931,443.55. There are seventy (70) working days allowed for this project.
Permit/Detour Section
Local traffic will be maintained at all times and no permitted loads will be affected.
