Road Open LA 542/Jackson Parish

LA 542, which was closed on April 26, 2017 is now open. Thank you for your patience while we replaced the culvert.
Beginning today, April 26, 2017, LA 542 will be closed 1.7 miles east of its junction with US 167 and is tentatively set to reopen Friday, May 5, 2017. This closure is required to replace a culvert under the roadway that has collapsed.
PERMIT/DETOUR
The detour route will be US 167, LA 813-3, and LA 542.
