LA 1040, between Tangipahoa Parish Line & Bankston Road, Tangipahoa Parish

There will be alternating lane closures eastbound and westbound on LA 1040, from Tangipahoa Parish Line to Bankston Road, beginning 7:00 AM on Monday, April 24th through 5:00 PM on Wednesday, April 26th, while crews perform a project overlay, weather permitting. One lane will remain open at all times.
OVERSIZE LOADS ARE RESTRICTED TO 10 FEET IN WIDTH.
Motorist may experience a 5-10 minute delay.
DETOUR:
EASTBOUND motorist may take LA 43 to I-12 to I-55 to US 190.
WESTBOUND motorist may take US 51 to US 190.
