LAFAYETTE, LA - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that John Wayne Drive at its intersection with LA 339 (Verot School Road), in Lafayette Parish, will be closed to traffic on the following nights:

• Monday, April 3 from 7 p.m. until Tuesday, April 4 at 7 a.m., weather permitting.

• Tuesday, April 4 from 7 p.m. until Wednesday, April 5 at 7 a.m., weather permitting.

The closure is necessary to complete drainage upgrades related to the ongoing widening of LA 339 (Verot School Road) project.

The detour route will include Kaliste Saloom Road, South Beadle Road, and LA 339 (Verot School Road). Detour signs will be posted.
