The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that, weather permitting, work will begin on the LA 174 Asphaltic Surface Treatment Project on Monday, April 10, 2017 and will continue for approximately (1) one month. This asphaltic surface treatment project is located on LA 174 from its junction with LA 191 to its junction with US 171. This 4.812 mile long project will receive pavement patching, asphaltic surface treatment and related work.
The project was awarded to the low bidder, Brudd Construction Co., LLC in the amount of $415,311.76.
Permit/Detour section
There will be no restrictions for passenger vehicles and a 12’ wide lane width restriction for all oversize vehicles. The roadway will be reduced to one lane during construction. The roadway will be open to local and through traffic at all times.
