LAFAYETTE, LA - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that beginning Tuesday, March 14, until Thursday, March 16, the northbound left lane of LA 182 (North University Avenue) at its intersection with Alcide Dominique Drive/Hollywood Drive will be closed to traffic. The southbound turn lane from LA 182 to Hollywood Drive will also be closed to traffic.

Beginning Monday, March 20, until Thursday, March 23, La. 182 (University Avenue) in the north and southbound directions will have alternating lane closures at its intersection with Alcide Dominique Drive/Hollywood Drive. The northbound turn lane from LA 182 to Alcide Dominique Drive and the southbound turn lane from LA 182 to Hollywood Drive will also be closed to traffic.

This work is necessary to allows crews to remove the existing crossover and replace it with a grassy median, as well as, add new curbing.

The work is estimated to take place daily from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., weather permitting.
