Eastbound LA 70 (Sunshine Bridge) in St. James Parish - Lane Closure

LA70 EASTBOUND TO LA44 RAMP WILL BE CLOSED FROM 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM, MARCH 8TH AND 9TH, 2017.

The outside lane will be closed from Wednesday, March 8th to Friday March 9th between the hours of 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM each day while crews perform a routine inspection of the bridge.

This closure will allow vehicles 11 feet wide or smaller to pass through the construction zone. Road is open for regular traffic but oversize vehicles must detour using LA 3127 East to LA 3213 North to LA 3125 East.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the inspection site and be on the look out for work crews and their equipment.
