LAFAYETTE, LA - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that the southbound lane of LA 724 (South Fieldspan Road), between West Congress Street and LA 342 (Ridge Road), will be closed beginning Monday, February 27 through Wednesday, March 1.

The work is estimated to take place from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., daily, weather permitting.

The closure is necessary for a gas line utility relocation.

The road will be open to regular traffic with a 10 foot roadway restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone.
