DOTD announces alternating lane closures of I-10 overpasses from Ambassador Caffery to the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge for sweeping operation

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announced today that beginning on Thursday, February 16 until Friday, February 17, I-10 overpasses from Ambassador Caffery to the west end of the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge will have alternating lane closures in the east and westbound directions for a sweeping operation, weather permitting.
This work is estimated to take place from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
All permit and oversize loads along with emergency vehicles will be allowed to pass. There are no detours.
