Road closure: LA 3194 (Martin Luther King Drive), Caddo Parish

The Louisiana Dept. of Transportation & Development (DOTD) advises motorists that beginning on Monday, February 20, 2017, LA 3194 (Dr. Martin Luther King Drive) will be closed from LA 1 (North Market Street) to Montana Street in Caddo Parish.

The duration of this closure will be from Monday, February 20, 2017 at 7:00 PM to Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 6:00 AM.

This work is expected to last one (1) night only, and is associated with the construction of the new I-49 bridge over MLK.

Alternate Route: I-220 westbound to Exit 5, LA 173 (Shreveport-Blanchard Hwy) northbound to MLK Drive.

DOTD reminds motorists that it is unsafe and unlawful to drive onto a closed road past a “road closed” barricade at any time for any reason.

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
