Beginning Sunday, May 5, 2013, at 7:00 a.m., I-10 in Lafayette Parish will be closed both EB and WB at MP 102, in between Exit 101 (University Ave/La 182) and Exit 103 (Evangeline Thruway/I-49) for approximately 30 minutes to allow for power lines to be pulled across the entire roadway.  No traffic will be allowed to pass for this 30 minute interval.  An alternate route consists of LA 182 South (University Ave.), US 90 East (Cameron Street) and US 167 North (Evangeline Thruway).  The Department regrets the inconvenience caused to the traveling public.
