LAFAYETTE, LA - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) will be closing Newburg Drive at its intersection with LA 339 (Verot School Road) in Lafayette Parish beginning Thursday, January 26 at 6 a.m. until Friday, January 27 at 6 p.m., weather permitting.

The closure is necessary to complete work related to the ongoing widening of LA 339 (Verot School Road) project.

The detour route will include Sharpsburg Drive, Rustburg Drive and Vincent Road. Detour signs will be posted.
