NOW OPEN: LA 1042, ST. HELENA PARISH

LA 1042 HAS BEEN RE-OPENED BETWEEN BURTON LANE AND TURNER CHAPEL RD. THE REPAIRS TO THE CROSS DRAIN HAVE BEEN COMPLETED.

LA 1042 will be completely closed between Burton Ln. and Turner Chapel Rd beginning Tuesday, January 31, 2017 through Friday, February 3, 2017 (weather permitting). The road closure is due to repairs that need to be made on a cross drain that was damaged from the August flood event. The repair will take place at mile post 5.1.
"Road Closed" barricades will be set up on both ends of the closure to designate the distances of the closures.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution and be on the lookout for work crews and equipment.
