This road is now open. LA 173, Bridge over Mahlin Bayou in Caddo Parish.
This is to advise that on Monday, January 30, 2017, at 8:30 A.M., the LA 173 Bridge over Mahlin Bayou, in Caddo Parish, near Blanchard, approximately 0.48 miles east of the junction of LA 1, will be closed for five (5) days for piling repairs.
Alternate Route: (Total Road Closure). ALL vehicles must detour using LA 1, LA 530, US 71 and LA 173. (This detour route is due to LA 169 and LA 538 both being closed for bridge replacements.)
