LA 46 at the Bayou La Loutre Bridge (Yscloskey Bridge) will be closed to all vehicular traffic from 8:00 PM Tuesday, January 17th thru 2:00 AM Wednesday, January 18th and from 8:00 PM Wednesday, January 18th thru 6:00 AM Thursday, January 19th while crews perform bridge work. In the case of weather preventing the work from being performed on Tuesday or Wednesday evening, a closure will be performed on Thursday night January 19th to complete the work.
The bridge will be closed to all marine and vehicular traffic and there are no available alternate routes for vehicular traffic. Government offices have made arrangements to provide emergency response services during the closure.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
