The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that LA 91 (West Maple Avenue) east of LA 757 in Eunice will be closed for the removal and replacement of the existing bridge.

This closure is scheduled to take place beginning January 16 through August 31, weather permitting. The bridge reconstruction work will begin following the completion of the removal of the bridge at that intersection.

Traffic will be detoured to LA 13 and US 190 during the closure. The detour will be posted.
