ROAD CLOSURE, LA 44, ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST PARISH

LA-44 in St. John the Baptist Parish, between LA 54 and LA 3213, will be closed on January 7 and on January 8, between the hours of 6:00 A.M. to 6 P.M. This road closure is necessary to create a safety zone for hoisting a pipe bridge truss in place over LA-44.
Detour Information:
Motorists traveling west on LA Highway 44 will detour to LA 54 and then US 61 to LA 3213 to return back to LA Highway 44. Motorists traveling east on LA Highway 44 will detour to LA 3213 and then to US 61 to LA 54 to return back to LA Highway 44.
Detour signing will be posted.
