LAFAYETTE, LA - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that Chastant Boulevard at its intersection with LA 339 (Verot School Road) in Lafayette Parish will be closed to traffic on Tuesday, December 27 at 6 a.m. until Wednesday, December 28 at 6 p.m., weather permitting.

The closure is necessary to complete drainage upgrades related to the ongoing widening of LA 339 (Verot School Road) project.

The detour route will include Fabiola Avenue and Nariede Street. Detour signs will be posted.
