The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that Bridge Number 2040401301 will be closed to large truck traffic for emergency repairs. The bridge will be closed to large truck traffic beginning at approximately 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 8, 2016 and will remain closed to large truck traffic until repairs can be completed. This structure is on LA 106 over Bayou Boeuf and is located 0.56 miles east of the I-49/LA 106 interchange.
Permit/Detour Section
LA 106 eastbound traffic will be detoured to I-49 South to Exit 40, and onto LA 29 North to the LA 29/LA 106 intersection. Westbound traffic will be detoured to LA 29 South, to I-49 North to the I-49/LA 106 interchange at Exit 46.
