SUNSET, LA - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announced today that on Sunday, December 11, I-49 in the north and southbound direction, including the frontage roads, between Exit 7 (LA 182 – University Avenue) and Exit 11 (LA 93 - Sunset/Grand Coteau) will have intermittent closures to allow crews to pull power lines across the roadway. Delays up to 30 minutes may be expected.

The work is estimated to take place from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m., weather permitting.

An alternate route consists of LA 182 (University Avenue) from Exit 7 (LA 182 – University Avenue) to Exit 11 (LA 93 – Sunset/Grand Coteau).
