NEW IBERIA, LA - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announced today that beginning Monday, November 28 at 8 a.m. until Friday, January 13, 2017 at 5 p.m. LA 31 (Chestnut Street) between LA 182 (Main Street) and LA 182 (St. Peter Street) will be closed to install new drainage structures.

For westbound traffic the detour route will consist of LA 182 (Main Street) to LA 677 (Landry Drive) to LA 182 (St. Peter Street).

For eastbound traffic the detour route will consist of LA 182 (St. Peter Street) to LA 675 (Hopkins Street) to LA 182 (Main Street).
