The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announced today that on Thursday, November 17, Interstate 10 in the east and westbound direction from the LA 97 Overpass at Jennings in Acadia Parish to the LA 182 (University) Overpass at Lafayette in Lafayette Parish, will have short term alternating lane closures for a sweeping operation.

Lane closures are estimated to take place from 7:30 p.m. until 3 a.m., weather permitting.

Over sized loads and emergency vehicles will have access to the area. A detour is not needed for this lane closure.
