Construction is scheduled to begin Friday, November 11 on a right turn lane on LA 44 northbound at the intersection of US 61. Intermittent northbound and southbound lane closures will be in effect between the hours of 7 am to 5 pm .
This work is expected to be completed by late December 2016, weather permitting.
Motorist can avoid this construction by detouring LA 3224.
