The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that, weather permitting, on Monday, November 7, 2016 road construction work will begin on LA 106 from the Evangeline Parish line to its intersection with LA 29.
This 1.6 mile long road construction project will consist of asphalt patching, cold planing, superpave asphaltic concrete pavement, and related work.
This contract was awarded to the low bidder, Prairie Contractors Inc. in the amount of $1,881,919.49
Permit/Detour section
No wide loads will be allowed beginning November 7, 2016. The roadway will be open to traffic at all times; however, there will be lane closures.
