The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announced today that on Thursday, November 3, Interstate 10 in the east and westbound directions, from the University overpass (LA 182) to the west end of the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge, will have short term alternating lane closures for a sweeping operation.

Lane closures are estimated to take place from 7:30 p.m. until 3 a.m., weather permitting.

Oversized loads and emergency vehicles will have access to the area. A detour is not needed for this lane closure.
