LAFAYETTE, LA - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that for 0.11 miles the outside southbound lane of LA 3073 (Ambassador Caffery) will be closed between La Neuville Road and Chemin Metairie Road, 1.21 miles southeast of LA 339 (Verot School Road). The lane closure will take place on Monday, October 17 through Friday, October 21, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., daily, weather permitting. The closure is necessary for the construction of a right turn lane.

The road will be open to regular traffic with a 12 foot lane restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone.
