LA 601 in Madison Parish

UPDATE: The construction work LA 601 in Madison Parish is now complete. LA DOTD appreciates the travelling public's patience and cooperation during the duration of this project.
LA 601 in Madison Parish starting from its intersection with US 65 to the intersection with Eakers Street will experience various lane closures beginning Monday, October 10, 2016. Traffic will be maintained through the use of flaggers and pilot vehicles to assist with travel through this area during daylight working hours. All lanes will be open during non-working hours and overnight. The work is anticipated to be complete by December 2, 2016, weather permitting. The lane closures are required in order to patch the roadway, to mill off the old surface and to install new asphaltic surfacing.

Restrictions: No restrictions to traffic at this time.
Detour: No formal detour route has been established as LA 601 will still be open to all traffic.
