OPEN: UPDATE: LA 42 (ASCENSION PARISH) ROAD CLOSURE

LA 42 (ASCENSION PARISH) – A road closure will take place on LA 42 on Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. No thru traffic will be allowed to pass during this road closure.
The closure will be 3 miles west of LA 431.
The closure is necessary to replace culverts.
Alternates routes are available. Motorists should detour LA 42 to LA 933 then LA 44 or LA 44 to LA 933 then to LA 42.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
