LA 111 South of Evans – Add Cross Drain Pipe

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that, weather permitting, work will begin on the LA 111: south of Evans; Cross Drain Replacement project on Monday, September 19, 2016 and will continue for approximately (2) two months. This cross drain replacement project is located on LA 111 south of Evans, LA, which is approximately 2.60 miles north of the intersection of LA 464. This 0.246 mile long project will receive clearing and grubbing, drainage structures, embankment, class II base course, lime treatment, superpave asphaltic concrete overlay and related work.
The project was awarded to the low bidder, Apeck Construction, LLC in the amount of $569,803.97.
Permit/Detour Section
The contractor will begin work on Monday, September 19, 2016 and the roadway will be open to local traffic at all times. It should be noted that traffic may be limited to one lane during the project and delays may be experienced.
