LA 22 & LA 16, the Eastbound and Westbound lanes on LA 16, at Head of Island (1 mile North of Diversion Canal), will be closed periodically from 8:00 pm Thursday, September 15, 2016 through 6:00 am on Friday, September 16, 2016 (weather permitting). At least one lane will remain open at all times. This lane closure will allow crews to pour concrete for the new roundabout.
Motorists may take LA 42 as an alternate route to avoid nightly lane closures during construction.
