*UPDATE*

There will be alternating nightly lane closures on I-10 Westbound and Eastbound at the Middle Pearl River Bridge (Milepost 272.84 to Milepost 273.20) beginning on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 through Wednesday, September 14, 2016 (weather permitting) while crews repair the bridge deck and install permanent striping.

Tuesday thru Wednesday: From 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. daily

Permit/Detour Section

To avoid construction delays, Westbound motorists may take MS 607 (Exit #2), South to US 90 (Chef Menteur Hwy.), west on US 90 to US 190, West on US 190 to US 190B (Fremaux Ave.), West on US 190 B to I-10.

Eastbound motorists may take US 190 B (Exit #265 - Fremaux Ave.), to US 90 (Chef Menteur Hwy.), east on US 90 to MS 607, north on MS 607 to I-10.

Motorists wanting to utilize US 90 as a detour should be aware that there are load restrictions on the Pearl River Bridges.

One lane of traffic will be open at all times. Emergency vehicles will have access. By law, oversize loads are not allowed to travel at night.
