The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that, weather permitting, on Monday, September 12, 2016 road construction work will begin on LA 112 from the LA 113 intersection north to E. Davis Road.
This 7.2 mile long road base rehabilitation construction project will consists of drainage structures, cement treated subgrade layer, in-place cement treated base course, superpave asphaltic concrete pavement, and related work.
This contract was awarded to the low bidder, Diamond B Construction Co., LLC in the amount of $2,938,216.12.
Permit/Detour Section
No wide loads will be allowed beginning September 12, 2016. The roadway will be open to traffic at all times; however, there will be lane closures. Unpaved roadway conditions will exist during base course construction.
