Southbound LA 1 at Bayou Plaquemine Bridge (Plaquemine) in Iberville Parish
The outside lane will be closed across entire length of bridge from Monday, September 19, 2016 to September 23, 2016 between the hours of 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. while crews perform a routine inspection on the bridge.
This closure will allow vehicles 12-feet wide or smaller to pass through the construction zone. Road is open for regular traffic but oversize vehicles must detour using LA 1 North to I-10 East to LA22 South to LA 70 South to LA 1 North.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
