The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced today that on Wednesday, August 31 until Thursday, September 1, Interstate 10, in St. Martin and Iberville Parishes, on the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge will be reduced to one lane in the eastbound direction between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. The lane closures will occur at milepost 119, 124, and 131 eastbound in the outside lane.

These lane closures are necessary for crews to install electrical equipment at the emergency crossovers.

There are no detours necessary for this work and no restrictions for oversize loads. Emergency vehicles will have access through the area.
