St. Mary Parish - LA 182 (old Atchafalaya River Bridge) - Bridge Closure

Morgan City/Berwick, LA – The Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that on Wednesday, August 31, from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m., the old Atchafalaya River Bridge on LA 182 will be closed for crews to clean debris/vegetation from the bridge, weather permitting.
The detour route will be the new Atchafalaya River Bridge on US 90.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds motorists to please drive with caution and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
