Houma Tunnel on LA 3040 - Terrebonne Parish

The Houma Tunnel crossing the Intracoastal Canal Waterway (ICWW) on LA 3040 in Houma, LA will be continuous closure to vehicular traffic from Friday August 26, 2016 to Monday August 29, 2016 from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 am (ending Monday morning August 29th) to allow LADOTD’s contractor personnel to perform cleaning and/or maintenance work in the tunnel.
Alternate routes available for crossing the ICWW are:
LA 24/LA 659 (Twin Span Bridge) and LA 315 (Dularge Bridge).
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
