ABBEVILLE, LA - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced today that LA 14 Business at the Vermilion River Bridge will be closed to traffic between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to allow the removal of drift on the upstream side of the bridge.

Suggested detour will consist of US 167, LA 14 Bypass and LA 82.

Oversized loads and emergency vehicles will not have access to the area.
