The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced today that on Wednesday, August 17, Interstate 10, eastbound and westbound, on the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge, will be reduced to one lane at several locations for the installation of signs.

The closure will take place between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. and will be completed on that night, weather permitting.

There are no detours necessary for this work and no restrictions for oversize loads.

Emergency vehicles will have access through the area.
