DUE TO SEVERE WEATHER EVENT TODAY AUGUST 12, 2016 THIS CLOSURE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO SUNDAY, AUGUST 21, 2016 AT 4:00 PM.
LA 975 will be closed 4.5 miles North of I-10 for 2 weeks. This closure will start at 8:00 AM August 1, 2016 and end at 4:00 PM August 12, 2016.The closure is needed for bridge repairs. The road will be closed to all traffic.
Suggested detour route for Southbound traffic is US 190 East to LA 77 South to LA 3000 South to I-10 West and for Northbound traffic I-10 East to LA 3000 North to LA 77 North to US 190 West.
