Lafayette Parish – Intersections of University Avenue at Alcide Dominique Road, Hollywood Drive and the Race Trac – Left turn lane closures

LAFAYETTE, LA - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that beginning Monday, August 15, the left turn lanes on University Avenue (approximately 0.2 miles south of Interstate 10) at the intersections of Alcide Dominique Road, Hollywood Drive, and the Race Trac, will be closed for approximately 2 weeks, to construct a raised median.
The turn lane closures are estimated to take place between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., weather permitting.
Oversized loads and emergency vehicles will have access to the area.
