FIVE FORKS ROAD REALIGNMENT

CONTROL SECTION: 835-23
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that starting on Monday August 1, 2016, construction work will begin on LA 1265 beginning at the junction of THOMAS SANDERS ROAD and extending to its intersection with LA 153. The project length is 1.68 miles.
The scope of work includes Clearing and Grubbing, Grading, Drainage Structures, Embankment, Class II Base Course, SUPERPAVE Asphaltic Concrete Pavement and related work. This project was bid on 05/11/2016 and the contract was awarded to Specialty Trackhoe and Dozier Service, INC. of Shreveport, LA. The amount awarded was $2,433,615.75. There are one hundred thirty (130) working days allowed for this project.

Local traffic will be maintained at all times and no permitted loads will be affected.
