The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced today that on Tuesday, July 12 through Thursday, July 14, I-49 in Lafayette and St. Landry Parishes will have alternating lane closures in the north and southbound directions for a spraying operation, weather permitting.

This work is estimated to take place from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

All permit and oversize loads along with emergency vehicles will be allowed to pass. There are no detours required.
