NOTIFICATION OF NIGHTTIME WORK AND LANE CLOSURE
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that starting on TUESDAY JULY 5, 2016 AT APPROXIMATELY 6:00 PM the LADOTD contractor will be milling the mainline roadway of the project. The work will continue until FRIDAY MORNING, JULY 6, 2016 AT 6:00 AM. This nighttime work is being performed to provide the least amount of disruption to businesses in the area and to mitigate traffic congestion.
The scope of work for this project includes Grading, Lime Treatment, Cold Planing Asphaltic Pavement, SUPERPAVE Asphaltic Concrete, Drainage Structures, Sidewalks, Curb and Gutter and Related Work. This project was bid on 12/10/2014 and the contract was awarded to T.L. Construction, LLC for the amount of $3,868,450.03. There are 386 calendar days allowed for this project.
Permit/Detour section
No permitted loads should be affected as the work will be executed during nighttime hours. LA 1 will be reduced to one lane of traffic (approximately 10 foot in width) but will remain open at all times.
