UPDATE: KCS RR crossing closure on U.S. 80, west of La. 154, Gibsland, Bienville Parish

As of Tuesday, June 28 at 4 p.m., the dates of this closure have shifted a day. The closure will be Thursday, June 30, 2016, from 6 a.m. through 6 p.m. on friday, July 1, 2016.

This is to advise that on Wednesday, June 29, 2016, from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Friday, June 30, 2016, the at-grade railroad crossing on U.S. 80 east of La. 154 in Gibsland will be closed for repairs.
Alternate Route: TOTAL ROAD CLOSURE on US 80. All traffic will be diverted north to La 154 and I-20 east .
Safety Reminder: DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
