The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that beginning on Friday June 17, 2016 at 7:00 P.M, construction work will continue on the bridge location listed below. The work will consist of bridge deck repair. Updates to the Permit/Detour Section are listed below.

Permit/Detour Section

Route: US 167, between I-49 and LA 107 in Rapides Parish (Structure No. 08400230102742) Bridge D (Southbound Only)

Dates: Friday, June 17th through October 1, 2016.

Restrictions: There will be night time lane closures during the week and continuous lane closures on the weekends. There will be a width restriction of 8 ½ feet.

Road Closure: Starting at 10:00 P.M. on Saturday June 18 and extending to 7:00 A.M. on Sunday June 19, US 167 will be closed to southbound traffic at this bridge location. All traffic will be detoured utilizing the La 107 Exit to La 1250 (Whatley Street and Melrose Street) then back to US 167 South.
