There will be alternating lane closures on US 90 Business (Pontchartrain Expressway) starting Thursday, June 16, 2016, starting 9:00 PM until Friday, June 17, 2016 at 5:00 AM. This is for configuration of the lanes for Phase 1 of the project, for the removal of the Toll Plaza at Lanes 1 through 6. Starting Friday, June 17, 2016, traffic on the Pontchartrain Expressway will be shifted to the right to pass through Toll Plaza lanes 7 through 12. This phase of construction is expected to last approximately one month.
Vehicles can detour the area via the following routes: US 90 (Huey P. Long Bridge)
