SPN H.001340: LA 21 Widening (Bootlegger Road – 11th Ave.)

There will be intermittent, alternating lane closures of LA 21 from Bootlegger Road (Milepost 4.42) to the intersection of West 12th Avenue (Milepost 6.1) beginning Friday, June 10, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. and continuing through Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. (weather permitting) while crews install temporary striping and conduct additional miscellaneous work to accommodate new lane configurations in preparation for Phase 2 construction of the project. Once complete, there will be one lane in each direction (with dedicated turn lanes where they now exist) for northbound and southbound LA 21.
Permit/Detour Section
To avoid delays during construction, motorists travelling northbound on LA 21 may take I-12 East to US 190 West (Exit 63B), west on US 190 to US 190 Business, west on US 190 Business to LA 21.
Motorists travelling southbound on LA 21 may take US 190 Business East to US 190 East, east on US 190 to I-12, west on I-12 to LA 21 (Exit 59).
Emergency vehicles will have access at all times.
