US 84; Joyce; Winn Parish
Mile Post 97.89; Control Section 022-03
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that US 84, Joyce, Winn Parish, will be closed at the Watco Railroad track. The work is being done at milepost 97.89 and is on control section 022-03. The closure will be Friday, June 10, 2016 from 3:00 PM with a reopening to traffic at 12:00 PM on Sunday, June 12, 2016. The closure is for Watco Railroad to replace the surface and ties thru the crossing.
Permit/Detour section
The roadway will be closed completely to all traffic during this time. The detour will be US 84 West to US 167 South to LA 500 East to US 165 North to US 84 East. The detour can accept oversized loads. The detour route will be identified with proper markings for the general public. All emergency agencies will be notified of the road closure.
