UPDATE: I-49 North, Segment K Phase 2 (I-220 to MLK Drive) ramp closure

Motorists are advised that beginning Saturday, June 11, 2016, the I-220 Westbound Exit 5 to LA 173 Off- Ramp will be closed to traffic between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. The purpose of the closure is to re-configure the off-ramp to continue paving operations of the new I-220 corridor.
This work is anticipated to last approximately one (1) calendar day, weather permitting. The work should be completed on Saturday, June 11, 2016. If however, because of weather delays, the closure may occur on Sunday, June 12, 2016, between the hours of 7 a.mm and 6 a.m.
Alternate Route: See attached detour plan.
All westbound traffic will exit at LA 1 (North Market Street) proceed North on LA 1 to MLK Drive. Turn left onto MLK Drive and proceed to LA 173 (Blanchard Road). Turn left onto LA 173 and proceed to I-220 where traffic may enter onto the Westbound On-Ramp.
