LA 383 ROAD CLOSURE – TOWN OF IOWA – CALCASIEU PARISH
LA 383 (N. Thompson Avenue) will be closed on Sunday, May 15, 2016, from 2:00 AM until noon, at the Union Pacific Railroad Crossing near Railroad Avenue in the Town of Iowa. The crossing location is approximately 0.75 miles south of I-10 and 0.5 miles north of US 90.
Motorists will be detoured via LA 3258 (E. Miller Street), US 165, and US 90 (E. 4th Street).
The closure is necessary for Union Pacific Railroad personnel to perform railroad crossing maintenance.
